Scotty’s Playhouse
Scotty’s Playhouse was built in honor of Scott Banke, Karina Hargis and Grace Blanchard—three children who, by some standards, left this world far to early. A large mural, rising 30 feet above the floor memorializes the lives of these three children and others. The 3,000 sq. ft. playhouse also contains one of the largest indoor play structures in the Northwest, as well as a tot lot for younger kids and a cafe-type seating area for adults. Though Scotty’s Playhouse pays tribute to Scott, Karina and Grace, it is a gift to all children in this community from the parents of those the children, from the “See Ya Later” Foundation and from the Church on the Hill family.
OPEN PLAY SESSIONS are free to all children eleven and younger.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Scotty’s Playhouse follows the McMinnville School District schedule for school day closures due to inclement weather. If schools start late, morning play sessions will be cancelled. If schools are cancelled, all play sessions that day will be cancelled. If school is cancelled on a Friday, chances are the Saturday Open Play sessions will be cancelled.

Scotty’s Playhouse is available for parties according to the following schedule:
Sundays, 2-4, 4:30-6:30 & 7-9pm
Mondays, 6-8pm
Tuesdays, 6-8pm
Fridays, 6-8pm
Saturdays, 2-4, 4:30-6:30 & 7-9pm
The cost is $100 which includes a party host, one hour & fifty-five minutes in Scotty’s Playhouse and ninety minutes of table/chair use. Reservations can only be made with full payment and completed registration forms. For reservations and other information, call 503.472.8476.
Parties during Open Play Sessions are not allowed for various reasons.

Do you love Scotty’s Playhouse and what it offers the community? Want to keep it going? Consider volunteering for one of our existing open play sessions or to open a new session. It’s simple. Request a “Background Check Release Form” from one of our current attendants. Complete the form and return it to the attendant. You will be contacted soon with scheduling and training information.
WORKDAYS
Scotty’s Playhouse is offered free of charge to the community with no strings attached. However, the HUGE play structure that so many of us enjoy requires a monthly deep cleaning and safety check.
